Take a Breath of Fresh

Hey friends, I'm writing you from my desk on Saturday afternoon looking out at a snow covered Salt Lake Valley bathed in sunshine. On Wednesday I received the second dose of the Moderna vaccine and last night the side effects subsided and I am feeling very grateful for a full night's rest, my health and am also feeling optimistic about our path back to normalcy.

I took a walk earlier today in the crisp, clear winter air with the sun warming up my body, chatting with a friend across country going through a particularly rough life event complicated by the pandemic. Part way through I stopped the verbal processing and led us both through some slow, deep breaths together, allowing the monkey brain to quiet as the physical processing did its work, facilitating a much needed emotional release. After feeling physically crappy for a few days, it felt awesome to stand in the sunshine with my friend on the phone and let the clean, cold winter air fill my lungs and refresh my being. Remember that you always have the ability to take a few deep breaths to help ride the waves of life!

Following up with last week's newsletter Keep the Music Alive, we also have some fresh Hardy Brothers music to get you rocking and rolling into your week! Our single Fever dropped Friday for you to stream or purchase on all major music platforms. This grooving, rock track written by our brother Zach was recorded all in-house at his studio Silent Green Records. I put in some really fun, stinging guitar solo work on it. We've got more new, original music coming. I was just talking with my yoga bro Scott Moore about coming in and laying some of that sweet saxophone down on a song!

Last Friday we also released our first weekly Hardy Party video on The Hardy Brothers YouTube Channel. Our brother Zach performed a really fun version of the classic Talking Heads song Psycho Killer. I am on deck for next Friday's video, so stay tuned!

We timed the release of this music with the launch of our Hardy Brothers Patreon page! Patreon is a membership platform where you can become a patron and support your favorite content creators. We have multiple tiers set up, each with its own exclusive digital and merch perks. We appreciate any and all support that helps us to keep putting out more rad music and videos.

I hope these recordings and weekly yoga and music videos bring some fresh vibes and movement into your bodies, hearts and homes. Stay safe!

Much Love,

James
